Sarvodaya U M School

Out in Suregaon, things are a bit more relaxed. Sarvodaya U M School is on the road that connects Newasa and Jainpur. It’s a rural area, so you see a lot of fields around us. Suregaon Ganga is a small place, and the school is one of the main buildings people know. We have students who come from the surrounding farms. Some walk quite a distance to get here. The school building is simple and fits in with the surroundings. We don’t have all the modern gadgets that city schools might have. We use what we have. There’s a lot of dust because of the road and the open fields. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. It’s a quiet life mostly. We have our lessons, and then the kids go back to help their families. The Newasa Jainpur Road is the main way in and out. Sometimes you see tractors passing by while the students are in class. We have a small office where we keep the records. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t put on any airs. People in Suregaon trust us because we’ve been here and we know the community. It’s just a normal school in a country setting. We do our best with the space we have and the kids seem happy enough to be here every day.
