Shree Ganesh Engineering

Working at Plot No. M-23 in the MIDC area of Ahmednagar is what we do every day. Shree Ganesh Engineering has been here for years, right among all the other workshops and factories. It’s a gritty kind of job. We deal with metal, sparks, and heavy parts that require a lot of muscle to move around. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of oil on it. We have a few old lathes and a welding station that gets a lot of use. The air is often filled with the sound of metal being cut or hammered into shape. We don’t have a website or anyone to handle marketing. Usually, people just drive up to the gate and ask if we can fix a part or manufacture something for them. We write down orders in a big ledger that’s falling apart at the edges. It’s not a high-tech operation, but we know our machines inside and out. The weather in Ahmednagar can be tough, especially in the summer when the metal gets hot to the touch. We keep a cooler of water in the corner and take short breaks when we need to. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the measurements right and making sure the welds hold. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the MIDC, just a reliable one where people know they can get their engineering work done correctly.
