Machine Well Engineering Company

Our workshop at Machine Well Engineering Company is located at Plot No. A 49. It is a simple setup, really. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the walls are covered in the kind of grime you only get from years of working with heavy machinery. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle lathes and drills. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil patches here and there, no matter how much we sweep. We do a lot of custom work, so every day is a bit different depending on what the person brings in. Sometimes it’s a broken part that needs replacing, other times it’s a completely new component we have to figure out from a rough sketch. We drink a lot of tea and spend most of our time bent over workbenches. It’s quiet in the mornings before the machines start up, which is my favorite time of day. Once the power is switched on, you can’t hear yourself think, but that’s just the nature of engineering. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the parts we turn out are solid and fit where they are supposed to. Being at A 49 has worked out well for us over the years, and we don't plan on changing much.
