We are a small shop located right near the Majur Gam Bus Stand on Geeta Mandir Road. It’s a busy place with people always rushing for their buses, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our shop changes depending on what time of year it is because we sell things that people need for the different seasons. When the monsoon starts, we get a lot of umbrellas and raincoats in. During festival times like Diwali or Holi, the whole place gets packed with decorations and colors. It’s not a very big space, so things tend to get a bit messy with boxes piled up in the corners. My family helps out, and we usually start early in the morning when the first buses start running. The road outside is always noisy, but you get used to the sound of the engines and the people shouting. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know we are here when they need something quick on their way home. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit when it rains really hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. The tea stall next door makes a lot of noise with the cups clinking, but they make a good chai that we drink twice a day. It’s just a regular local business trying to provide what the neighbors are looking for. We know most of the people who walk past every day by their first names. It's a simple way to make a living.
