You can find us at 410, Shree Narayan Palace. We are right near the Kothawala Flats in Paldi. It’s an area we know well. Our workshop is dedicated to tin rolls. It’s a noisy business. The sound of metal being cut and rolled is something you get used to after a few days. The air always has a bit of a metallic tang to it. We aren't in a big factory out in the sticks; we are right here in the city. The building, Shree Narayan Palace, is a bit of a mix of offices and workshops. We’ve been here for years. Our staff are mostly local guys from Ahmedabad who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big marketing team. We don't even have a receptionist. If you come in, one of us will just look up from whatever we are doing. We spend our time checking the thickness of the sheets and making sure the rolls are tight. It’s honest work. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole day with a wrench in hand. We don't mind. We prefer being busy. Paldi is a good neighborhood. It’s got everything we need close by. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tin. That’s what we do at Western Tin Roll. It's nothing fancy, just a lot of rolling and cutting until the sun goes down.
