If you head down Gujarat Bottling Road in Rakhial, you’ll find us at Durga Estate. We are right near Keval Kanta, which most people in Ahmedabad know pretty well. It’s a dusty, loud part of town because of all the industrial work, but that’s where Asha Steels belongs. We deal with a lot of heavy metal every single day. There’s always trucks coming and going, loading up rods or sheets or whatever the customers need for their building projects. It’s hard work and the sun gets really hot in the yard during the summer months. Our space at No.2/2 A is filled with stacks of steel and the sound of machines. We don’t have air conditioning in the main warehouse, so we just keep the doors open and drink a lot of tea. My family has been around this area for a long time, so we know how the local trade works. People come to us when they need specific sizes or just a few pieces for a small repair. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty. It’s a steel yard, after all. You get dirty, you lift heavy things, and you make sure the orders are ready when the drivers show up. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Just look for the gate near the bottling road and you will find someone to help you.
