We work on the 10th floor of A-block in Taitanium Square. It’s located just off S. G. Road in the Thaltej area. Being up on the 10th floor means we have a decent view of the city but mostly we are just looking at our screens and stacks of papers. Taitanium Square is a large building so there are always people in the elevators and a lot of activity in the lobby down below. Our office, number 1003, is where we handle all our business. S. G. Road is the main artery of this part of Ahmedabad so getting here is usually a matter of navigating the morning rush which can be quite stressful. The office itself is fairly standard with desks, chairs, and a small area for guests to sit if they arrive early. It feels a bit more modern than some other places but it’s still just a place where we do our work. We spend a lot of time on the phone and coordinating with different people all day long. The air conditioning is always running because the sun hits the windows pretty hard in the afternoon. Sometimes we take a break and walk down to the ground floor to get some tea or just to stretch our legs for a few minutes. It’s a busy environment and you can feel the energy of the other businesses in the building. We try to keep our space neat but with all the files and samples it gets cluttered pretty quickly. It’s a solid place to be for the kind of work we do.
