Our shop is tucked away in the Madhavpura Market, specifically at unit G-20. It’s right on Shahibaug Road, which is one of those areas that never really seems to quiet down. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know how packed it gets with traders and customers. We operate out of this small space, and it’s usually filled with boxes and samples. There isn't much room to move around once the morning shipments arrive. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the walls show a bit of wear and tear, but it’s a good spot for business. Most of our day is spent talking to vendors or checking the inventory. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep track of what’s coming in and going out. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the market is at its busiest. We usually keep the door open to get some air. People stop by to chat or ask about prices throughout the day. It’s a very social way to work. You get to know everyone on Shahibaug Road after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our job right and keep things moving. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and moving stock, but we are used to it by now. We close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to empty out. It's a long day, but it’s what we do.
