Gyan Coating

You can find us in Phase I of the GIDC in Vatva, at unit C-1, 91/15. This is a very industrial part of the city, so it’s all trucks and factories as far as you can see. We do industrial coating here. Basically, people bring us metal parts and we put a coat of paint or protection on them. The shop is always a bit messy because of the chemicals and the powders we use. There is always a layer of dust on the windows. We have some large ovens for baking the coating on and several spray areas. It is loud because of the exhaust fans we have to keep running so we can breathe. We don't have a front office or anyone to answer the door, so you just have to walk in and find one of the workers. It’s a small team of us, and we mostly just focus on getting the orders finished. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just do the work as it comes in. The heat in the summer makes it tough to work near the ovens, but we manage. We’ve been in this same spot for years and know most of the other shop owners on this block. It is just a plain industrial workshop where we do our jobs and then head home.
