Desai Coating Industries

You can find Desai Coating Industries over at Plot No. 9/a in the Panchratan Industrial Estate. This is Part-II of the estate, situated in Changodar. It’s under the Sanand Taluka in Ahmedabad. The area is quite industrial, as you’d expect. There’s a lot of heat and activity around here. We’ve been set up in this spot for some time now. The building is functional, designed for the kind of coating work we do. It’s not the kind of place that stays clean for long, given the nature of the industry. We just focus on getting the jobs through the line. The roads around Changodar can be a bit rough, especially during the monsoon, but we’re used to it by now. Plot No. 9/a is easy enough to find if you know the estate. We share the neighborhood with a lot of other manufacturing units. Sometimes the smell of chemicals and paint is quite strong, but that’s part of the day-to-day for us. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a big sales team. Usually, if you call or visit, you’re talking to someone who actually works on the floor. It’s a straightforward business. We take the parts, do the coating, and get them back out. It’s how we’ve always done things here. The pace is fast but we try to keep things organized despite the constant flow of materials coming in and out. It is hard work but we are used to it.
