Arihant Dye Stuff Pvt. Ltd. is located over in the GIDC Vatva area. Our specific spot is C/1-121, Phase-1, right near Jindal Synthetics. Being in an industrial zone like this means it is almost always loud and there is usually a lot of dust from the trucks moving in and out of the gates. We have been operating out of this specific unit for several years now. The walls inside have seen better days, and there is always a bit of a chemical smell hanging around the place, which I guess is just normal for a dye business. We spend most of our time dealing with the vats and making sure the colors are coming out the way they should. It is hard work and the floor is usually stained with different shades of whatever we were mixing that day. There isn't much of a front office to speak of, just a small metal desk where we handle the billing and the phone calls. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people in the industry know us because we have been in Phase-1 for so long. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up during our lunch break to get away from the noise. It is an honest living. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to keep up with the delivery schedule. The monsoon season is always a bit tricky because the roads around GIDC get very messy.
