Apex Dyes Intermediates

Apex Dyes Intermediates is over at C1/47 in Phase-II of the GIDC in Vatva. It’s right in the middle of a lot of other chemical and dye plants. Because we work with dyes, you might see some colors on the floor or on our clothes by the end of the shift. It’s just part of the job. The building at C1/47 isn't very big, but we use every inch of it for the production process. We have some old desks in the front for the billing, but most of the action is in the back. The Vatva area is always busy, and the roads can get pretty rough, especially when the monsoon hits Gujarat. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just have the recipes we follow and the orders that come in. Most of the guys here have worked in dyes for years, so they know the smells and the timing by heart. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for communication; we just shout across the floor or walk over to talk. It's a simple life. We have tea twice a day and just keep our heads down. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in Phase-II, but we’ve stayed right here at C1/47. It’s a honest day’s work for everyone involved. We don't need much more than that to keep things going. It's just a factory where people work.
