Apex Dye Stuff Industries

Working out of Phase-II of GIDC, Vatva is what we do every day. We are specifically at C-1 258/2. It’s a little further back into the industrial estate than some of the other phases. The area is quite packed with different units making all sorts of things. We focus on dyestuffs. Our workshop is usually full of color. One day everything might look a bit yellow, and the next day it’s all blue. It depends on what we are mixing that morning. The equipment we use is old but it works just fine for what we need. We don't see any reason to change things that aren't broken. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our facility. It’s a place for work, not for show. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We know the rhythm of the machines. The street outside can get quite clogged with delivery trucks, so we have to be careful when we are loading. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop. It’s a noisy, busy environment, but we are used to it. We don't have any big missions or slogans. We just make the dyes and send them out. It’s a straightforward life and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the job done every single day. There isn't much more to it than that for us.
