Vadiawala Petroleum Steel is tucked away in Alif Plaza. To find us, you actually have to go behind the Metro Steel Showroom. It’s a bit of a weird spot if you aren't looking for it specifically. We’ve been operating from here for some time, dealing with the paperwork and logistics of steel and petroleum. The office is small and usually has stacks of invoices and delivery notes piled up on the desks. We don't have a big storefront with lights, just a quiet space where we can get the work done. The area around Alif Plaza is always moving, especially with the showroom right in front of us. It’s mostly us and a few other small businesses sharing the space. We spend a lot of our day coordinating things over the phone. Dealing with steel and petroleum products is a lot of back-and-forth, so there is always something to track down. It gets a bit cramped when we have a few visitors at once, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit in the city. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the numbers add up at the end of the month. It's a lot of sitting and typing, but we take breaks to walk outside when the sun isn't too hot. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so they know exactly which alley to take to find us.
