V. R. Pharma

V. R. Pharma is located in the Gota area of Ahmedabad. Gota has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings and people moving in, but we are still here doing our thing. It’s a growing part of the city. Our shop is a basic place where we keep the medicine and the supplies. We don't have a long history of being in a fancy mall; we just have our spot in Gota. The traffic around here can get pretty heavy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We usually open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the neighborhood and making sure we have the stock right. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking lists. We don't use any fancy systems, just the way we've always done it. Sometimes the dust from the construction nearby gets in, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s just a regular pharmacy life. We know most of the people who walk in by their first names. Gota is a good place to be because it feels like a community. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything like that. We just want to be here for the people who live nearby and need their prescriptions filled without any hassle. It's a simple life and we are happy with it.
