Lotus Pharmaceuticals is over here at 105 Hare Krishna Complex. We’re tucked away right behind the City Gold Cinema on Ashram Road. It’s a busy spot but we manage okay. Most days, we’re just busy with the daily routine of handling medicines and orders. It’s not a fancy place, just a standard office where we keep things organized. People sometimes find it hard to spot us since we're behind the cinema, but once you know where the complex is, it’s easy enough. We’ve been at this for a while now. Some of the staff have been here since the start. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s mostly about getting things out to the people who need them. The traffic on Ashram Road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, so we usually try to get our deliveries moving early in the morning. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The office has a lot of files and boxes. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we make it work. It's just a regular local business doing what we do every day. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. Most folks find us through word of mouth or because they've dealt with us for years. It’s steady work and we like the neighborhood well enough. It gets the job done without being too much.
