V. M. Chain Industries

V. M. Chain Industries is located over at Plot No. L-107 in the Odhav G.I.D.C. estate. If you know the area, we’re right opposite Rabari Vasahat. It’s pretty dusty around here most days with all the trucks moving in and out, but that’s just how an industrial estate works. We’ve been running things from this spot for a while now. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time on the floor making sure the machines are running right. It gets loud sometimes, so you have to shout to be heard over the clanking. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us handling the orders as they come in. Sometimes things get backed up, especially when a machine decides to act up on a Monday morning, but we figure it out. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s a workplace, plain and simple. We handle a lot of metal and chains, so our hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the counts are right before things get loaded onto the trucks. It’s a tough environment but we’re used to it. We keep our coffee pot going all day to stay awake. It is usually a very long day for us.
