If you drive down Ambli Bopal Road, you will see our building standing there among all the new shops and houses coming up in Bopal. Ahmedabad is growing fast, but we just stay here doing our thing. It gets really crowded outside during drop-off time because the road is one of the main ones around here. Inside the gates, though, it’s a different world. We have classrooms that have seen a lot of students come and go over the years. The walls have some marks on them and the floors are a bit worn from all the walking, but it shows the place is used. We don't really bother with those glossy brochures you see other places making. It’s just a school. The teachers bring their lunch, the kids play in the yard, and we try to keep things organized. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit or the internet is slow, and we just deal with it. That’s life in a busy city like this. The staff room is always full of papers and half-empty chai cups. We like the location because it’s easy for parents to find us, even if the traffic is a headache. It’s a local place for local families. Nothing more, nothing less. Every morning we open the big gates and every evening we lock them up, and that’s been the routine for as long as anyone can remember. We just keep it simple.
