Universal Metal Supplier

Universal Metal Supplier is located right over at Jankinandan Complex, specifically Door No 1/2 on Motera Road. If you know the Sabarmati area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We’ve got our stacks of metal sheets and rods tucked away in the back, and honestly, it gets a bit cramped sometimes when a new shipment arrives. My father started this because he knew people always need iron and steel for their houses or small shops nearby. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down orders in a big ledger book that’s seen better days. The traffic on Motera Road can be a real headache, especially when we are trying to load a truck. Customers usually just walk in, tell us what they need, and we figure out a price that works. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks to find exactly the right thickness, but we usually find it eventually. It’s dusty work, and our hands are always dirty from handling the stock, but it’s a living. We see the same faces every week, mostly local builders and guys doing repairs. We’ve been in this complex for a while, so everyone knows where to find us if they need a bit of channel or some angle iron. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the inventory moving without making too much of a fuss.
