Our college is out on the Vadsar-Kalol Road, which is a bit of a stretch if you are coming from the main part of town. We are right at Moti Bhoyan, and if you are looking for a landmark, we are directly opposite Gunjan Paint. It’s a pretty industrial area in some ways, but also feels quite rural because of the open space around Kalol. The address is in Gujarat, 382010. Engineering and technology students are always coming and going, often arriving on buses or their own bikes. The road can get quite busy with trucks and commercial vehicles because of the factories and shops like the paint place across from us. It gets very dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up across the plains. The college building itself is a sturdy place that handles the heat of the Gujarat summers well enough. We spend a lot of time just keeping the labs and classrooms running. There isn't much in the way of big shops right next to us, so it’s mostly just the college and the surrounding businesses on the road. People who live in Moti Bhoyan see the students every day. It’s a straightforward environment, very focused on the technical work the kids are doing. We’ve been here at this location for a good while now, and the commute from Kalol is just part of the daily routine for most of the staff. It takes a bit of patience when the road is busy.
