Working out of 2121, Nagjibhudhar Ni Pole is quite an experience if you aren't used to the old city of Ahmedabad. We are tucked away in Mankodi Pole, which is inside Mandavi Ni Pole, right near the famous Manek Chowk. If you’ve ever been down these narrow streets, you know it’s a maze of history and old buildings. Our office is right in the thick of it. The streets are too thin for big cars, so there’s always a lot of walking and cycles zipping past. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and there is always the smell of street food from the market nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the building has that old-world feel to it. It’s not a modern glass building with air conditioning in every corner. It’s a place with thick walls and high ceilings. We spend our days managing things from here, surrounded by the constant chatter of the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the sheer number of people in Manek Chowk, but there’s an energy here you don't get in the newer parts of the city. We just keep our heads down and get through the paperwork. It’s a functional space that has served us well for years. We know the neighbors, the local shopkeepers, and even the cows that wander through the poles. It’s just home for us at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
