Time World (Maninagar)

Time World in Maninagar is situated at 15/16 Yash Complex. We are right across from Hirabhai Tower, which is a very well-known spot in this part of Ahmedabad. Another good way to find us is by looking for Karnavati Dabeli, which is nearby and always smells great. Being at Uttamnagar in Maninagar means we are in a very traditional and busy residential-cum-commercial zone. Our shop is where we spend all our hours, surrounded by watches and clocks. It’s a twin unit, 15 and 16, so we have a decent amount of space for our displays and the repair bench. The ticking sound in here is something you stop noticing after the first ten minutes. People come in mostly to get their watches fixed or to buy a new one for a gift. We see all kinds of people, from school kids to old-timers who have lived in Maninagar for decades. The atmosphere in Yash Complex is pretty laid back. We take our time with each job because you can’t rush work like this. Sometimes we stand outside the shop for a bit just to watch the crowd near Hirabhai Tower. It’s a good place to be. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just like clocks and we like being part of the Maninagar community. Every day is pretty much the same, and we are quite happy with that.
