You can find us on the 4th floor of the Polytechnic Building. We are right on Premchand Nagar Road in Vastrapur, which is a really active part of town. The Judges Bungalows are just across the road from our building. It is a bit of a climb up to the 4th floor if the lift is acting up, which happens every now and then. Bpl Telecom Pvt Ltd is focused on telecom work, so we have a lot of testing equipment and computers set up on the desks. It’s not a very fancy place; the walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the furniture is a bit mismatched from different years. We have a good view of the street from the windows, and we can see the students from the polytechnic hanging out during their lunch breaks. The area gets really crowded during the festival seasons because of the big market nearby. We spend our time handling service requests and managing the accounts for the equipment we look after. It’s a steady kind of job with a lot of daily routine. We have a small corner with an old kettle for making coffee and there are usually some papers piled up on the main table. It feels like a lived-in office where people actually do work rather than just sitting around. We have been in this building for quite a few years and have gotten used to the noise and the busy atmosphere of the Vastrapur area.
