Ashok Pan & Gift Centre

If you are looking for us, we are at Shop No 1 and 2 in Maruti Tower. We are right across from the Jay Shefali Row Houses on Satellite Road. It’s a busy corner, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk or coming home from their jobs. Ashok Pan & Gift Centre has been here in the Satellite area for a long time now. Half the shop is filled with various gift items like toys, watches, and small trinkets for birthdays or anniversaries. The other half is where the pan counter is located. We get a lot of regulars who stop by every single night after they finish their dinner. It’s a small space, so it gets a bit crowded when four or five people are waiting for their turn at the counter. We have stuff hanging from the ceiling and packed into every available shelf. It might look a bit messy to some people, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. My family helps out with the shop, so there is usually a couple of us behind the counter. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which makes the work feel nice. We also keep some cold drinks and chocolates for the kids who come by from the nearby row houses. The traffic on Satellite Road can be quite loud throughout the day, but we like being right in the middle of things. It’s a simple shop where we try to have a bit of everything for the local neighborhood.
