The Sygnus Mart

We opened up here at 14 Sarjan Shopping Center a while back. It’s right on the Parshwanath Township Road in Krishnanagar, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. This part of New Naroda gets pretty busy during the evenings when people are heading home and need to grab something quick. Most of the time, we’re just making sure the shelves aren’t empty and that the lights are working. It isn't a massive place, but we keep things organized. If you walk past the shops here, you’ll find us easily. There is always some dust from the road, but we try to keep it clean enough. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our mornings unloading stuff and checking what needs to be replaced. It’s just a normal shop where people come for their daily needs. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s not fancy or anything like those big malls. We just have what you need and a counter to pay at. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, with more houses popping up everywhere. We stay open late enough for the office workers getting off the bus. It’s a simple life, just running a mart and talking to neighbors. We usually sit on the stools near the entrance when it is quiet.
