Our office is tucked away on the first floor of the Akik building. If you are familiar with the area near Mithakhali Six Road, you know it gets incredibly busy with traffic and people moving around at all hours. We are situated right across from the Lions Hall, which is a really helpful landmark for anyone who hasn't visited us before. Most of our workday is spent talking about tubes and different kinds of containers. It might sound a bit boring to some people, but it is what we know best. We have been here in the Ellis-bridge area for many years. The office stays a bit crowded with various samples and stacks of old paperwork, but we usually manage to find what we need eventually. It is not like those modern places with glass walls and minimalist furniture. We just have our basic desks and some chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. My brother and I handle the daily operations, and we have a small crew that helps with the logistics and shipping. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure everything is moving to the right place. Ahmedabad has changed so much since we first opened, but this little corner of the city still feels like home to us. We usually just grab a quick lunch from one of the food stalls nearby and get back to it.
