You can find our printing shop at 1866 Shakti Nagar, right near the Bajarang Ashram. We are situated along National Highway 8, directly across from the Madhur Hotel in the Thakkarnagar area of Ahmedabad. It is a very busy spot with trucks and cars flying by on the highway all day long. Inside, it is usually a bit quieter, though the printers make a constant humming sound. Doing all sorts of sign and print work for people in the neighborhood and businesses along the highway is what we do. Rolls of vinyl and stacks of paper lean against the walls most of the time. We don't have a big showroom; it is more of a working space where the magic happens. A couple of us handle the machines and make sure the colors look okay. Sometimes we are rushing to get a banner done for a local event, and other days we are just doing small flyers. The shop isn't perfectly tidy because there are always scraps of paper and trimmings around. Having been at this location for a while now, the local tea sellers and shopkeepers all know us. It’s a decent place to work, even with the highway noise. Taking the orders as they come and trying to get the prints out the door as fast as we can is the routine. We try to keep our machines running smooth and handle any hiccups as they come up during the workday.
