Ambica Paper Machineries

Our place is located on Road No. 11 in GIDC, at Plot No. 431 and 432. We work with paper machineries, so there’s always some big piece of equipment being moved around or worked on. The plot is fairly large, which is good because these machines take up a lot of room. You’ll see plenty of spare parts and metal sheets leaning against the walls. We spend our days mostly tinkering with designs and putting things together. It’s a lot of manual work and we use a lot of tools. The floor is concrete and usually has a few stains from the oil we use. We have a small cabin in the corner where we keep the computer and the phone. It’s usually a bit quieter in there, but not much. Most of the guys here have been working with paper machines for years. We don't really have a sign that’s easy to see from the road, so people sometimes miss the turn. We just tell them to look for the big blue gate. It’s a practical environment. We don't care much for how things look as long as the machines are built right. Lunchtime is the only time the noise actually stops for a bit. We sit outside when the weather is nice. Sometimes trucks come in late to pick up parts, and we stay until everything is loaded properly.
