The Pharmacy

We are located up on the first floor of the Siddhi Darshan Complex. It’s right across from Seema Hall in the Anand Nagar area of Ahmedabad. To be honest, sometimes people miss the stairs, but once you find us, we’ve got most things you’d expect from a local place. The 100 Feet Road is always noisy, and we just work through the day here. I started this place a while back and it’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We spend a lot of time checking the expiry dates and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s not some big fancy store with bright lights everywhere. It’s just a regular pharmacy. We get a lot of people coming in after they visit the doctors nearby. It’s a busy neighborhood. Sometimes the fans don't work as well as they should in the summer, but we manage. We handle the prescriptions and sell the usual bandages and creams. I don't really have a big story to tell. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. It’s a practical way to spend the day. You see the same faces every week, which is nice. Most people know us by now. We don't do much advertising, we just stay in our spot and keep the inventory sorted. That’s pretty much how we run things here at The Pharmacy.
