You can find us over at 35/B in the Bapukrupa Society, located right on Gurukul Road in the Memnagar district of Ahmedabad. Our office is in a part of town that sees a lot of foot traffic and vehicles, so there is usually a constant hum of noise coming from the street outside. We spend our workdays sourcing various types of items and communicating with different suppliers across the region. The main room is often cluttered with samples of products we have been inspecting lately, such as different types of fabrics, small plastic components, and a few cardboard boxes that are ready to be sent out. It can look a little disorganized at times, but we have our own system and we know exactly where everything is kept. We have a few older computers that are always running and a printer that tends to act up every now and then. The team here is quite small, so we all know each other’s habits and families. We frequently share snacks or tea in the late afternoon when everyone starts to feel a bit tired. We do not have a fancy reception area or anyone waiting at the door to greet you. If you happen to walk in, you will likely see us huddled over our desks or talking loudly on the phone. We focus on finding decent products for a fair price, which means a lot of negotiating. Ahmedabad is a great city for this kind of trade and we enjoy it.
