We are over at Plot No-1522 in Bardolpura. Most people know the spot because it’s right opposite the Muni Guji School. It gets busy around here when the trucks from New Ambica Transport start moving in and out of the lane. We’ve been handling steel for quite a while now in Dariyapur. It’s a dusty part of town but we like it here. My desk is usually covered in papers and scrap notes from the day's orders. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a warehouse space where we keep the stock and talk to people who come by looking for specific sizes. Some days the heat is a bit much under the roof, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we load stuff up. It’s mostly just us making sure the inventory matches what we wrote down in the books earlier that morning. Dealing with steel isn't glamorous work. You get your hands dirty and you spend a lot of time checking measurements twice so there aren't any headaches later. People drop in from the neighborhood or stop by after seeing our sign near the school. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done without making a big fuss about it.
