Suraj Stainless Limited is located over at 44 Uttpal Society in Naroda, Ahmedabad. If you know the area, we are situated right behind the Bethak. Naroda is a pretty busy place with a lot of industrial activity, and we fit right into that. Our space is basically a mix of a small office and a storage area for all the stainless steel we handle. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to see fancy carpets or expensive art on the walls. It is a practical space for practical work. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us. The yard can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, and there is usually the sound of metal clanging somewhere nearby. We spend our days checking the inventory and talking to the drivers who come to pick up the loads. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind, and we have to spend a late evening catching up, but that is part of the job. We do not have any big mission statements or complicated goals. We just want to make sure the stainless steel gets delivered and that we have enough stock for the next day. It is a family-sort of atmosphere here, with everyone pitching in when a big shipment arrives. It is just regular people doing a regular job in a busy part of Ahmedabad.
