Sunshine Colours Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. C-1/124 in Phase II of the Vatva G.I.D.C. Estate. It is a typical industrial plot in a very large industrial zone. We have got a good amount of space here, which we need for all the color work we do. Vatva is always humming with the sound of factories and heavy trucks. It can be quite dusty and hot in the summer months, but that is just part of being in the G.I.D.C. area. Our building is practical and built for hard work, not for show. We have the production area and a small office space for the accounts. We do not have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos on every wall. We just focus on mixing the colors and getting the batches right. Sometimes things get a bit messy with the dyes, but we try to keep the place organized as best we can. We have been in Phase II for quite a while now and know the local transporters very well. It is a long day usually, starting early and finishing when the work is finally done. We have a small group of workers who are quite skilled at what they do. There is no big management hierarchy here. We all just pitch in and help out. The roads around Vatva can be tough, especially during the monsoon rains. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
