Suglatwala & Sons

Suglatwala & Sons is located at 1825/1, right near the Three Gate area. We are in Taheri Manzil, which is an old spot in Lal Darwaja. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and lively it gets. There is always noise from the streets and people moving about. Our place isn't very large, but it fits what we need. We've been in Lal Darwaja for quite some time now. It’s the kind of area where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We open up early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. The building itself has a lot of character, maybe a bit too much sometimes when the plumbing acts up or the stairs feel extra steep. But we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Being near Three Gate means we are right in the thick of things. It is a very traditional way of working. We don't use much technology for the sake of it, just what we need to get through the day. The family has been doing this for a long time, so it’s second nature to us by now. It is dusty and loud outside most days, but inside we just focus on the tasks at hand. We see all sorts of people walking by our door every hour. It’s a busy life but it’s ours. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
