Our office is located at Aakansha Apartments, right near the Sola Railway Crossing on Sola Road. If you live in Ahmedabad, you know how busy this area can get when the trains are passing through. We hear the whistles and the clatter all day long. The space inside is mostly filled with paperwork and some samples of the products we deal with. It’s a bit of a climb up to the office, but it keeps us active. We spend a lot of time on the phone or coordinating with the drivers who are out on the road. The heat in Ahmedabad can be brutal, so the coolers are always running. We have a lot of files stacked up on the desks, and sometimes it takes a few minutes to find exactly what we are looking for. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. It’s more of a place where people are constantly moving and shouting across the room to get things done quickly. We eat our lunch together at the big table in the middle of the room. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in places. We’ve been operating out of this apartment for quite a while now. It’s a practical location for us because of the nearby transport links. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on making sure the orders are processed and the logistics are moving as they should be.
