Sudarshan Steel Mfg Co

The workshop at Sudarshan Steel Mfg Co is always a bit noisy and dusty. We are located in Ahmedabad - 380001, right where the industrial side of things happens. Most of our days are spent working with metal, cutting it, shaping it, and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks to pick up. It is hot work, especially near the machines when they have been running for hours. We wear heavy clothes and our hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or metal dust. This isn't a clean office job. We deal with raw steel and heavy tools every single day. Some of us have been doing this for decades and we can tell if a machine is running right just by the sound it makes. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are checking an order. Usually, we are out on the floor getting things done. The building has high ceilings to let the heat out, but it’s still a tough environment in the peak of summer. We make various steel parts and components for other businesses around the city. It’s about measurements and making sure the metal is strong enough for what it’s needed for. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back working. It is just a straightforward manufacturing shop where we focus on the metal and the machines.
