Subhiksha Retail

This business, Subhiksha Retail, is run out of a row house in Vejalpur. Specifically, number 24 Suley Row House. It’s a residential area, so it feels very different from a standard commercial block. We like it that way because it’s peaceful most of the time. Ahmedabad can get very hot, so being in a house helps keep things a bit cooler during the day. We’ve converted a couple of the rooms into storage and a small office space. It’s not a huge operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of our customers are locals from the Vejalpur area or people who have heard about us through friends. We don't really do any big ads or social media stuff. We just focus on getting the retail items sorted and ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes the living room gets full of packing tape and cardboard boxes. It’s a bit messy but that’s just how a small retail business looks behind the scenes. We handle the deliveries ourselves when we can. Living and working in the same area means we don't have a long commute, which is a big plus. If you’re ever near Suley Row House, you might see us moving stuff in and out. It’s a honest living and we enjoy being part of the local scene here in Ahmedabad. We don't plan on moving to a big office anytime soon because this works for us just fine right now.
