We are located in the G.I.D.C. Odhav area of Ahmedabad. It's a big, noisy industrial estate, and Styro Steel Cast is at 622-15+16-6,7 in the Agrasen Ind. Estate. If you know the neighborhood, we’re right near Chhotalal Chali. Working with steel casting means it gets very hot in here during the shifts. The furnaces are almost always running to keep the metal liquid. We make different types of castings for various industries around Gujarat. It's dirty work, and your clothes end up covered in soot and dust by the time you go home. Ahmedabad summers are brutal, but we just drink plenty of water and keep going. We’ve been in this exact spot for a good while. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial stuff, so there’s always a background sound of hammers or heavy trucks. We aren't big on long meetings or fancy business presentations. Usually, someone just walks in with a drawing or a wooden sample, and we see if we can cast it in steel. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it perfect, especially if the shape is complex. We have a bunch of regular workers who know exactly how the metal should flow into the molds. We just try to get the orders out on time so the customers don't get held up. There’s no secret to it, just keeping the heat right and the molds steady and doing the work as it comes.
