Steel Word India

We've been running Steel Word India out of Shop 14 in the Akash Viksa Estate for a while now. Most people around Rakhial know where Kewal Kanta Road is, and that's where you'll find us. We deal with steel, mainly. It’s a busy spot in the Rathiyal area. Dealing with metal means a lot of lifting and sorting, and we just get on with it every day. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need for the stock. We handle orders as they come in. Sometimes the traffic on the road is a bit much, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. We don't have a big office or anything fancy inside. It’s just us doing the work. People stop by when they need specific pieces or if they have a question about what we have in the back. We try to keep things organized, though it gets dusty pretty quickly with the doors open. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, talk to the customers, and move the inventory. Nothing complicated about it. If you’re around the estate, you can’t really miss the sign we have out front. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot. It’s steady work and we like the people we deal with. Most of them are from around here or work in the other units nearby. We just focus on getting the steel out the door and making sure the counts are right.
