Steel Fast Industries

We’ve been set up here in Shop 28/5 for quite a while now. If you head down Khokhra Road near the old Ambica Mills, you’ll find us tucked into Jivabhais Chawl. It’s a busy part of Khokhara Mehmedabad, usually full of noise and people moving about. We spend most of our days working with steel and metal parts. It gets hot in the shop, especially during the summer months, but that's just how the work goes. My father started this and now we just keep the machines running. We don't have a big fancy office or a receptionist to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us covered in grease or dust. People from around the neighborhood know where we are if they need something fabricated or fixed. It's an old building, nothing special to look at from the outside. The floors are concrete and there's always stacks of inventory waiting to be moved out. We handle the daily orders as they come in. Sometimes things get backed up when a machine breaks down, but we manage to get it sorted eventually. We don't do much advertising because most folks just find us by word of mouth or by walking past the shop. It's a steady life here. We just focus on the metalwork and getting the job done before the sun goes down. It's not a glamorous job but it pays the bills and keeps us busy every day.
