Steel & Tube Industries Ltd is located over at Mihir Tower in Maninagar. We’re in suite 204. It’s a busy building and Uttamnagar always has something going on. Being in a tower means we aren't right on the ground floor with a yard, so we do a lot of our coordination from the office here. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but usually, it's fine. We deal with tubes and various steel products, mostly handling the logistics and the sales part of the business from this location. Our desks are usually piled with notes and order forms because things get busy fast. Maninagar is a good place to be based because it's easy for people to find us. We aren't corporate types who wear suits every day. Most of us just wear what's comfortable and focus on getting the orders right. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We've been in this spot for a while now and know most of the other businesses in the tower. It’s a tight-knit community. We don't have a big mission statement or anything, we just want to make sure the steel gets to the customers without too much of a headache. If the phones are ringing, we're happy. It's a simple way to make a living and we've gotten pretty used to the rhythm of the office. We just stay focused on the work in front of us.
