Solid Wheels Industries

We are located at 57/B in the Panch Ratna Industrial Estate, which is right off the Sarkhej Bavla Road in Changodar. Solid Wheels Industries is pretty much what the name says. We make wheels and related parts for industrial use. It’s heavy work. You’re lifting metal and dealing with high temperatures all day long. The estate is a bit far out from the main city, so it’s a long commute for some of us, but once you’re here, you just focus on the task. We have a row of machines that have been with us since we opened this unit. They aren't the newest models, but they work perfectly if you know how to treat them right. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’re walking right onto the shop floor. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always going to be some clutter. We focus on making sure the wheels are balanced and the metal is strong. If we do that right, then we’ve done our job. Most of our lunch breaks are spent sitting outside on the steps talking about the news or cricket. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We just want to keep producing things that last and getting the orders out on time for the trucks. It’s a lot of hard work but we are used to it.
