Sikkim Manipal University

We operate out of bungalow number 33 in the Jhanvi Bunglows area, right off I.O.C. Road in Chandkheda. It’s a bit of a different setup for a university office since we’re tucked away in a residential neighborhood near the Gandhinagar border. It’s actually quite nice because it’s much quieter than being right in the middle of a big campus or a noisy city center. We spend our days helping students with their paperwork, answering questions about courses, and making sure everyone knows where they need to be. It’s a lot of coordination. Because we’re in a bungalow, it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff, cold institution. We have people coming in from all over the district to sort out their admissions or exams. Sometimes the internet is slow or the printer acts up, just like anywhere else, but we get things done eventually. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch; we just handle the administrative side of things for the university. The neighbors are mostly families, so we keep the noise down and just focus on the task at hand. It’s a practical place to work. You won't find any grand marble lobbies here, just some desks, computers, and a lot of folders. We’ve been here in Chandkheda for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of life on I.O.C. Road. It is just a normal office doing its best.
