If you have ever been to the GIDC Estate in Odhav, you know it’s a place where things actually get made. Our spot at C-1/522 is right in the middle of all that industrial energy. Shri Bhagyodaya Metals has been operating here with the sound of metal cutting and machines humming in the background every single day. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a clean white shirt and expect it to stay that way until evening. There’s always a bit of grease or metal dust in the air. We work with various types of metals, mostly processing them for other industries. The floor is concrete, the roof is high, and the heat in the summer can be quite something. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they have to do without needing to be told twice. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy decor. Most of our budget goes into keeping the equipment running and paying the bills. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sitting on whatever is available and talking about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a honest way to make a living, even if it is tiring. We get the orders in, we process the metal, and we ship it out. It’s a cycle that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and sometimes even on Sundays if the work is piled up high.
