Shreeji Traders

Our place is over in Vatva. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial and pretty busy throughout the day. We’ve been trading from here for a long time. It’s not the cleanest part of town, with all the dust and the trucks constantly moving through the streets, but it’s where the work is. Our space is basically a warehouse with some desk space tucked in the corner. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking on the inventory. There’s always something coming in or going out. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roof. We just keep the fans going and stay busy. Vatva has its own vibe, very straightforward and no-nonsense. That’s how we run things too. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays. People who need us usually know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s just part of living and working in this part of the city. We have a few regulars who stop by for a chat while they wait for their loads. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. It’s a lot of manual work and paperwork, but it keeps us on our toes every day. Most evenings we're just sweeping up and getting ready for the next morning. It's just a regular trading life here.
