You can find us at Plot No-No.32- B in the Ahmadabad Complex. We are tucked right behind the Navjivan Hotel, which is a pretty well-known landmark if you are driving along the S. G. Highway. The traffic on the highway is always loud, but once you pull into the complex, it gets a little quieter. We are a trading company, so our day is mostly spent on the phone or looking at inventory lists. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The office is full of registers and ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper alongside the computer. It’s a practical setup. We handle a variety of goods depending on what our customers are looking for at the time. Sometimes the loading area gets blocked by trucks, and we have to go out and help clear things up. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually have the shutters half-down to keep it cool inside. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, we discuss what they need, and we get to work. It’s just how we do things here. We know the other shop owners in the complex, and we usually grab lunch from one of the stalls nearby. It’s a decent place to work and it keeps us on our toes every single day.
