We’re located in the Benison Complex on OP Road, specifically at number 401 in Hari Bhakti Society. Being on the fourth floor means we have a bit of a view, but mostly we’re just focused on what’s happening inside. Shozo Bakers isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a place where we really care about the bread and treats we make. The smell of baking usually fills the hallway, which I think the neighbors appreciate, or at least they haven't complained yet. OP Road is a busy spot in Vadodara, so there’s always people moving around. We started this because we loved the idea of making fresh stuff that people would actually enjoy having with their tea. It wasn't easy getting all the ovens and equipment up here, but we made it work. Our team is small, mostly just a few people who know their way around a kitchen. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on people liking what they eat and telling their friends. Sometimes the flour gets everywhere, and we spend half our time sweeping up. We have a small break area where we sit and talk about what we’re going to bake next or just complain about the humidity. We don't use any of those big automated machines you see in factories; we still do a lot of things by hand because it just feels better that way. It might take longer, and our hands get tired, but the results are worth the extra effort. We’re just a small group of people who like the smell of fresh bread and want to share that with the folks around Hari Bhakti Society. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, but that’s just how the bakery business goes.
