Sharda Vidyalaya

Sharda Vidyalaya is tucked away in A/1, Harimukund Society. We are located near Jivraj Park Cross Road in the Jivraj Park area of Ahmedabad, 380051. Being part of a housing society means we are right in the middle of where people live. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We have been here for many years and many of the parents went to school here themselves. The building is older, but we keep it in good shape as best as we can. We have different floors for different age groups. The stairs are narrow, so we have to tell the kids to be careful when they go up and down. We don't have a giant campus, but we make use of every corner we have. The office is right near the entrance where people can come in to ask questions. We spend our days teaching and keeping track of everyone. It gets very busy during the morning drop-off time because the road is narrow. We have a small staff of teachers who have been with us for a long time. They know the families around here quite well. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a community school through and through. We just try to provide a steady place for learning in Ahmedabad.
