If you know the Thaltej area, you probably know the Goyal Row House area. That’s where we are at number 18. Oysters Kindergarten And Daycare is tucked away off Drive Inn Road. It’s a bit quieter than the main street, which is good for the little ones. We have kids coming in early in the morning when their parents go to work. Some stay for the kindergarten classes and some are here all day in the daycare. It’s a house, so it feels more like a home than a big cold building. We have toys scattered around and little chairs for the kids. The backyard has some space for them to run a bit. We spend a lot of time wiping noses and helping them with their snacks. It gets messy, especially during lunch. We try to keep a routine so they know when it’s nap time. Ahmedabad heat can be tough, so we stay inside during the afternoons. There’s always someone at the door picking up or dropping off. We know all the kids by name, and their parents too. It’s not a big corporate operation, just us looking after the children and making sure they are safe while the parents are busy. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us through neighbors or just living nearby in Thaltej. It’s a busy life, but the kids keep us on our toes.
