Yash Primary School

This primary school is located at 2 Saleem Nagar in the Juhapura area of Ahmedabad. It is a very crowded neighborhood and the school is right in the middle of it all. Because it is a primary school, the halls are always full of very small children who are usually making quite a bit of noise. The space is not very large, so we have to be careful about how we use every corner. We have a small gate at the entrance where parents drop off their kids in the morning. Juhapura is a busy place and there is always something going on right outside our doors. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. The classrooms are filled with drawings and the smell of crayons. We spend a lot of time just managing the energy of the little ones. The teachers here are mostly from the local area, so they understand the families and the way things work around here. We don't try to sound like a big corporate institution because we are just a small local school. Sometimes the fans are a bit squeaky and the paint is peeling near the floor, but it is a real place with real people. Every day is a bit different depending on what the kids are up to. We just take it one day at a time and keep things moving.
